Presenting Acknowledgement
I was asked by my rehabilitation consultant, Dr Alex Ball, to talk about my TBI recovery experience – I was delighted to do so. The format was a forty-minute presentation, followed by a short Q&A with the audience.

Agenda
I was introduced in the 09:50 slot by Alex. A PDF of the slides Alex used gives a little insight into the clinical injuries, and my subsequent hospital management. I then presented my experience (there isn’t much content displayed in this PDF) on the NHS Broadfield Ward rehabilitation centre at the Haywood Hospital in Stoke-on-Trent.

The following photo shows the content of my last presentation slide; Ruth being my life partner who cared for me throughout my recovery. I had the slide on display while I conveyed my thoughts regarding the balance between clinical support of the NHS and life support of carers.
